Los Angeles-based designer and glass artist Alison Berger has achieved one
of the hardest things to do as a product designer: to create a timeless and
sophisticated piece - something stripped to its essence that will look (and
function) well in any style interior.
Her lens sconce does
just this. A simple armature holds a
thick glass lens through which beautiful light is multi-dimensionally
transmitted and refracted. So striking! I
can see these “en fillade” on the walls of a long corridor, on either side of a
residential door entrance or even on either side of a bathroom mirror – its
that versatile. Definitely worth dropping some coin on these!
