The Juvet Landscape Hotel in Valldal, Norway (about 300
miles northwest of Oslo) is possibly one of the coolest tiny hotels there
is. The 7 – 290 sq. foot | 27 sq. meter
- cabins that make up the property are inspired by Phillip Johnson’s Glass
House in New York and each has breathtaking picture windows that open up to take
in the remote wilderness that stretches as far as the eye can see. Better yet,
unless you wander into the spa or restaurant, these cabins are designed to avoid
your neighbors at all costs.
Norwegian firm Jensen & Skodvin designed the awesome stand-alone
modern cabins. And while the interiors
are minimal to not take away from the expansive remarkable views, they are
retrofitted with a touch of Scandi modernist furniture to round-out the experience
for those with more stylish sensibility.
