One of the most beautifully designed floor lamps I’ve seen
recently, is this one made by the Laguna Beach, California Cerno Group in
collaboration with New York luxury designer Frank Carfaro of Desiron.
It’s inspiration is midcentury … think the Orange County of
the Beach Boys or the Rio de Janeiro of Bossa Nova – relaxed, beautiful, fun, sun-kissed
and with a heaping dose of “cool”! Admirably
it’s also a fully dimmable LED lamp and comes in various metal finishes, woods
and different color shades.
It may not be ideal for your Park Avenue renovation, but
definitely a must for my next Tribeca project!
