creative contemporary offerings from Spain: toast the organic mid-century cocktail table!

  • Monday, September 17, 2012

  • It’s almost passé to have a single cocktail table in your living room today.  And while I’m still living with one at home (guess its time to change!), more and more I’m starting to incorporate tables of different shapes and sizes into my interiors and the clients dig this!

The Rock tables are an example of what I mean.  From Spain and designed by Rafa Garcia for Sancal, their organic shape is very midcentury and reflects the happy, positive environment of the time.  Their versatility is very contemporary.  Not only can you use as many tables as you want, but you can combine the type of tops - oak, mirror, smoked glass, lacquered – as well as sizes, shapes and heights to make your juxtaposition of tables all the more interesting.

    Enhorabuena!
