A client brought these light-hearted bedside tables to my
attention.
Frankly, I was taken aback at first glance. Then, they started growing on me. For starters, there are other options besides
the featured white oak, which would look fab in a Boho chic interior (which my
client’s is not). A brown wenge would
look quite handsome with the existing copper-metal base and drawer pulls. But you could also have the brown wenge with
a more antique slate finish on the metals.
Made by Italian furniture maker Cantori, the City table is simple, modern, sturdy and has enough space on the
top for at least a lamp, a clock, and a book – the bare essentials for a good
night sleep.
