In looking around for a commercial sofa, I stumbled upon the
Gentry Major by all-star Spanish designer
Patricia Urquiola for Italian firm Moroso.
It was not the usual leather or woven fabric model that I
was eyeing, but the chunky quilted knitted fabric that makes this one a one-of-a-kind
sofa within its commercial alternatives.
You would think that its “chunkiness” would make seating uncomfortable,
but it wasn’t. All that I would perhaps
worry about is if it’s easy to snag, making it unsightly after a couple years
of daily use. What do you think?
