The Egg Collective, a Brooklyn-based design company builds American
heirloom quality furniture of contemporary design. But don’t think that
“collective” means a bunch of rough-hewn men working together. Au contraire, the brains and brawn behind the
company are three lovelies: Crystal Ellis, Stephanie Beamer, and Hillary Petrie.
One of my favorite furniture pieces in their line is the Bradford Tile Tables. Made of blackened steel, the tops can be
ordered in white oak or travertine and are quite fun. With some ingenuity, you can combine the
tables to form any pattern that fits your space and use them as a cocktail
table or side tables depending on your liking.
