I was recently in Palm Beach on assignment and I saw these
beautiful poufs by Walker Zabriskie in his namesake store. Covered in vintage
woven rattan mats from Borneo, these poufs are beyond beautiful and very
practical: they can be used for seating or as casual tables.
And while these striking pieces are artisanal, they can also
transform into something more sophisticated when inserted into certain polished
spaces. They’re a wonderful way to add
some oomph in a space that lacks that je
ne sais quoi. Don’t be afraid of
combining them in a well-tailored and minimalist space to inject some pattern
and rich earth tone coloring, or in a more traditional room to add some exotic
and interesting texture. They’re simply
marvelous!
